1. The road through Tan Lap Melaleuca forest, Long An

It takes more than 2 hours to drive, with a distance of about 120km from Ho Chi Minh City, visitors will reach Tan Lap floating village, then take a canoe to enter Tan Lap Melaleuca forest, Long An.

Melaleuca forest was originally a wild wetland, close to the Cambodian border, linked with Dong Thap Muoi area, forming a large green area with a system of interlaced canals, along with the Vam Co Tay River flowing through.

When taking a canoe to the Melaleuca forest, visitors will be able to visit the forest by road, through a small, winding trail through the forest. The road is about 5km long, wide enough for only 2 people to go together, passing more than 100ha of Melaleuca forest. Along the two sides of the road, in addition to the tall melaleuca trees, there are wild plants, or patches of moss, and fallen leaves are full of the ground. All of these things create a mysterious, wild look, but extremely attractive to the road.

2. The steep road in Gia Lai

The steep roads may have been encountered in many localities, but the slope in Gia Lai is considered the most unique because of its verticality. From a distance, the slope seems to stretch to the horizon and has no end.

In fact, it belongs to a part of the bypass of Pleiku City, Gia Lai to Kon Tom, in the territory of La Pech Commune, La Grai District. Stretching 1km with an almost vertical height, on both sides of the road are thousands of tea gardens and coffee gardens of indigenous people, along with black and yellow cassava trees. In the season, the color of cassia flowers blooms brightly, making the scene even more satisfying.

Amazing gradients are also achieved thanks to the skill of the photographers. Mr. Chu The Dung, a person who has taken many photos here, said that the actual slope of the road in real life is not so scary as in the photo. When shooting, the author used a specialized lens and the skill of aligning the shooting angle to create such a unique effect.

3. Brocade road in Ha Giang

Referring to Ha Giang, most visitors will remember the rocky plateau, the winding passes or the Nho Que river. However, there is also a colorful and beautiful brocade street, bearing the characteristics of the ethnic community.

In fact, the road is located inside a resort area, in Yen Dinh commune, Bac Me district, Ha Giang province. Started in August 2020, the road is 1700m long with all beautiful brocade motifs and patterns, painted directly on the road surface.

More specifically, according to the representative of the resort, all patterns and brocades are completely hand-painted by local artisans. Not only helping to beautify the landscape, the brocade line drawing project also helped local youth get jobs during that time.

4. The road between the sand dunes in Bau Trang, Binh Thuan

Traveling to Binh Thuan, visitors certainly cannot miss the vast hills of white sand. Usually, the favorite form of transportation when visiting the sand dunes will be a car or a jeep. However, for those who love walking, come to Bau Trang.

This place has a special concrete road, only about 1km long, located between two vast surfaces of white sand. From there, it creates a convenient walkway for people to walk as well as becoming an extremely satisfying check-in point.

According to many people who have experienced, the most suitable time to experience this road is early in the morning, when it is still cool, not too hot, or late in the afternoon to watch the sunset.

5. The road across the sea in Diep Son

Another road is also related to the sea, but it is completely different from the road in Ha Long. This is the road going through the sea, in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa.

Specifically, this road has the main purpose of connecting two islands in the Diep Son island chain, located in Van Phong Bay. It is entirely of sand, about 800m long and about 1m wide. Looking from afar or from above, we will see the road as a silk strip winding between the turquoise waters of the sea.

Many tourists also compare, the sandy road across the sea in Diep Son is not inferior to the road connecting the two famous Jindo and Modo islands of Korea. To get here, visitors will take a canoe to Diep Son island with a time of about 15 minutes. The best time to explore the road is also at low tide.
