1. Nguom Ngao Cave

In the Tay language, Nguom Ngao means “tiger cave”. Legend has it that in the past, there were many fierce tigers living here. Therefore, the name Nguom Ngao was born. Discovered in 1921, it was not until 1996 that Nguom Ngao cave began to be put into tourism.

Today when traveling to Cao Bang , visitors should visit this cave to experience a space up to 2,144 meters long. 2. Lung Khuy Cave
If Cao Bang has Nguom Ngao, Ha Giang has Lung Khuy cave located in Lung Khuy village, Quan Ba commune, Quan Ba district. With a length of more than 500 meters and a maximum width of 200 meters, Lung Khuy is one of the beautiful caves in the northern mountainous region that you should visit once.

Compared to other caves in Vietnam, Lung Khuy cave is not so famous. So this place is still very wild. The entrance to the cave is quite small, only about 1.5 meters high and about 1 meter wide, creating the mystery and attraction of the cave. Although the way to this place is still a bit difficult, the entrance of the cave is small, but the world in the cave promises not to disappoint visitors.

The system of stalactites in the heart of Lung Khuy cave is extremely diverse with all kinds of strange shapes in the world. The rough stone columns, the soft waterfall-shaped stalagmites, the flowers and the glittering golden stalactites all create an irresistible charm. 3. Pu Sam Cap Cave
One of the beautiful caves in the Northern mountainous region is Pu Sam Cap – a cave complex located in the limestone range on the way to Sin Ho plateau. This cave has just been discovered since July 2006, including 3 large caves: Thien Mon, Thien Duong and Thuy Tinh.
