The American newspaper rated Da Lat and Lan Ha Bay as the ‘hidden treasures’ of Asia
Da Lat and Lan Ha Bay are among the top 18 attractive but little-known tourist destinations in Asia voted by CNN (USA).
On December 22, CNN’s travel page named the flower city of Da Lat and Lan Ha Bay of Vietnam among 18 destinations unknown to foreign tourists in Asia.
Asia with more than 40 countries has no shortage of enchanting places.
Ancient and unspoiled features are one of the reasons why this content is always attractive, from the unique architecture of Angkor Wat and the Taj Mahal, to the bustling metropolises of Tokyo and Hong Kong, to the beaches of Bali and Phuket.
But CNN believes that, for visitors who are more diligent to explore, there will be treasures that are less crowded and equally attractive.
With a fresh mountainous climate and vast pine forests, Da Lat is a famous destination for Vietnamese people.

CNN assessed that, at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level, Da Lat’s cool weather is a big plus in Southeast Asia with a predominantly tropical monsoon climate.
With the romantic Xuan Huong Lake in the heart of the city, Da Lat boasts everything from vestiges of French colonial architecture from its days as a hill resort, to “Crazy House” – a work of art. According to the Seuss school of architect Dang Viet Nga… Powerful waterfalls and vibrant flower industry create the attraction of the city for honeymoon couples and nature lovers.” CNN commented.
Meanwhile, this site believes that international tourists still do not know the beauty of Lan Ha Bay (Hai Phong City), while having heard of Ha Long Bay for a long time.
Located in the south of Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay is a shimmering stretch of water divided by limestone islands. Visitors here can be enjoyed by day trip or overnight.
Most visitors get to Lan Ha easily by bus or car from Hanoi or Hai Phong.
