According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, airlines have now adjusted more flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Da Nang to ensure serving the needs of guests during the holiday of September 2.
Da Nang is expected to have about 531 flights to Da Nang from August 31 to September 4. Including 95 international flights with about 13,300 passengers
In the long queue of people waiting for the procedure, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao Giang (from Kon Tum province) said that it must have been a long time to wait for her turn. She shared her excitement because she was about to return to visit her parents in Kon Tum after many months of coming to Da Nang to study and work. “I was very surprised because even though I went a day earlier than the holiday, the airport was still very crowded. Due to the crowded queue of passengers, the “check-in” procedure takes longer than usual. Da Nang International Airport also recommends that guests arrange travel time to catch the flight, and perform online check-in before arriving at the terminal to avoid congestion.
