“Green nature, especially trees, not only helps me have a stable income, but it also nourishes my soul and life” . – Cam Huyen shared.
Starting a business at the age of 17
When starting a job, difficulties are inevitable, and so is Cam Huyen’s bonsai shop. While preparing for the important university exam and practicing business, everything with Huyen at that time was a challenge.
Huyen said: “I was under a lot of pressure during that time. I had very little information and knowledge about trees, mainly I found out by myself and through the sellers and players that I met, so the first step was very difficult. difficulties and many challenges, especially capital and reasonable time allocation” .
When she first started her career, Cam Huyen faced many difficulties and challenges
After a period of starting a business, Huyen has earned an income of up to 8 figures/month. At the age of 22, with this income, Huyen was enough to take care of herself as well as have enough money to support her family.
Huyen’s bonsai shop, whose main color is gold, is designed in a classic style combined with a garden filled with green leaves, all creating a peaceful and comfortable space for guests. guests arrive. Huyen trades quite a lot of plants from cactus, tiger tongue, betel nut, etc. However, in order to be different from her competitors in the same industry, she has tinkered to find and collect many lines. Various plants for sale like: Caladium, Anthurium, Alocasia,…

“At first, I chose little-known tree lines to make a difference and attract customers. Although the competition is not too fierce, I also understand that the growing market means competition in the market. the future will be bigger one day, and that’s also my motivation to develop” – Cam Huyen said.
With more than 200 varieties of plants on display in both stores, Huyen designed open space and placed trees in each location suitable for its living conditions. Particularly for the shop in Ho Chi Minh City – this is the second brainchild, so she installed a glass room space to make it easier to take care of plants, because this is not only a place to sell plants, it is also a place to plant. and provide seedlings to external partners.

And it was quite surprised when she started doing business at the age of 17, but she did not choose a business to study. Turn to another discipline – communication.
Cam Huyen said: “At that time, I thought business was important, but how to develop and operate it properly is even more important. I already have background knowledge about business, so I decided to do business. follow the media industry to learn how to build a brand with a more personal impression” .
Not only with Huyen, many other young people also share the same passion for trees, so she has researched and implemented exchanges and sharing about bonsai that attract a large number of participants.
Find healing from the tree
Because it is still quite new, the frequency of Huyen’s exchanges is not too thick, usually on weekends. An exchange that takes place mainly people will share together the difficulties and problems that tree players encounter, through which both sides will grasp the problem and come up with a solution together. .
Cam Huyen organizes exchanges for everyone to share about bonsai
Each exchange session with a different topic, and the main participants are old and new customers of Huyen. According to Huyen’s share:
“Everyone came here to attend with a very relaxed and happy mood, everyone was excited and gave their personal views on trees. At first, I was quite scared to organize the meeting because I didn’t do well, but After the first session, I felt that there were many people with the same frequency as myself, I had many new friends, new customers” .
This is not simply an exchange around bonsai but also a place for participants to share their personal stories, as well as their own interests.
With Cam Huyen: “Growing a tree is the process of enjoying, enjoying and being healed”.
One of the biggest things that Huyen learned as a tree player as well as a bonsai business is: “Hobby can feed you if you are passionate and persistent enough” .
